Recommendations before traveling

What documents are required at the airport? Valid passport at least 6 months prior to the time of travel, people who are 18 years old must carry the passport with the ID card number, if traveling with minors must additionally submit a current civil registry authenticated no more than 30 days before the trip identity card. When traveling alone with a parent, a signed and authenticated permission to leave the country. If the minor is traveling alone, they must bring an exit permit signed by both parents and authenticated.

What currency do you receive at the hotel and destination? The local currency at the destination is either Dominican pesos or US dollars. The hotel has a dataphone service for credit card payments. Most credit cards are accepted at the destination. Please check with your bank to activate your card for international use.

What luggage can I bring to the airport? As of July 19, sales of package tours to domestic and international destinations only include one (1) personal item (backpack) with a maximum weight of 6 kg that must fit on the plane in the front seat.
NOTE: The maximum amount of luggage to be purchased cannot exceed the number of people in the reservation. The baggage service for CommercialC and Commercial flights is not included in the touristic plan and the supplements established in the tables apply according to the case. The weight and volume of each bag will be checked prior to the flight in accordance with the policies of each airline. In case the baggage exceeds the price authorized by each airline, the buyer agrees to assume the additional costs. In case of baggage loss or delay, the airline will be responsible under the terms of the civil aeronautical regulation N° 3 Civil Activities Areas.

What special recommendations are there for the trip? Always use sunscreen, bring plenty of mosquito repellent (not aerosol), hats, caps and/or other elements of protection against the sun. Preferably wear light, breathable clothing and sunglasses. Always remember to stay hydrated. If you leave the hotel, remember to coordinate your return transportation directly, in order to avoid inconveniences due to the distance.
